The Maharashtra government intends to build a drone hub and manufacturing cluster project at Aurangabad Industrial City (AURIC) in the Aurangabad district, Maharashtra
The government received a proposal for the project from the strategic think-tank Bramha Research Foundation located in Mumbai
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the 10,000-acre AURIC and the first greenfield industrial smart city, which is also part of the forthcoming Delhi-Mumbai industrial corridor
AURIC expects global investments worth Rs 70,000 crore in the next ten years and probably generate three lakh jobs
